The many colors of diamonds |
THE DIAMOND STABILITY FIELD HAS BEEN TAPPED!

Material
coming from the crater facies eruptive, whole rock, and recent trenching within
the vent parameters are shown to contain the following mineralogy:
Cr-spinel plot – several grains plot well inside the compositional field of
chromite inclusions in diamond. Most grains are interpreted as having been
derived from peridotitic source rocks, most likely spinel +/- garnet-bearing
dunite, harzburgite, lherzolite and various pyroxenites as indicated by the
distribution of data (see
"Model"). Minerals viewed to date by
credentialed labs include Kasmir Blue type sapphires; and chemistries are
similar to those minerals found in commercial diamond mines such as the large
Argyle deposit in Australia. Substantial
numbers of diamonds have been found in alluvial gold operations in rivers
draining the Sierra Nevada mountain range, all of which have been found either
within the fan surrounding Sierra Diamond Exploration’s location or downstream
from it. Further data is available for review by contacting owner/developer Elinor O'Rourke - 530-532-6425
This
is an example of gemstone quality Benitoite. In addition to data proving the
Diamond Stability Field has been tapped @ our location, it has been determined we
also have Benitoite in our samples from that general location with ongoing
exploration and proving of values, for this exciting diamond discovery.
During the timeframe, early in our exploration stages, that we were using
Western Archon as our Corporate Vehicle, (2002/03) Dan Hausel, one of, if
not the World's Foremost Expert in Unconventional Diamond structures,
determined Benitoite is an intregal part of the minerals found to exist in
our values. See his website @

The next recommended drilling and mini-bulk sampling program is to commence in the summer of 2007.
It is anticipated our drilling program will pinpoint the gold lying throughout the overlying volcanic breccia covering (overlaying) the pipes of this structure. The 2.4 oz. per ton fire assay indicates values should be located accordingly.
